About Almo Photography

Hi, my name is Susan and I’m a photographer based in the North East, I have a passion for photographing pets and families. My passion started when I got my first camera and started photographing my little Shih Tzu Molly, Molly has been my go to model over the last few years and is always willing to try out new ideas with me, so your likely to see a few images of her on my Facebook and Instagram accounts. I love to meet people and their pets and I like to work in a way that it’s not only you that is relaxed but if your bringing your pet for a portrait session then your pet is relaxed too. It’s important to me that both you and your pet enjoy your experience, If your thinking of a pet portrait, you will see some images where you think “my dog would never sit like that or my dog always needs to be on a lead”. That’s absolutely fine, most images especially outdoors, dogs are kept on the lead and I will just edit the lead out in my post editing. I photography studio style and outdoors and two of my favourite locations for outdoor portraits are Jesmond Dene and Bolam Lake, but if you have anywhere special, then just let me know.
